Scoring that depends on several signals at once turns into a sprawl of branches in HubSpot, and nobody remembers why a lead scored what it did. Changing one weight means editing the whole tree.

Run Custom Code holds the entire model in one readable snippet. Change a weight in one place, and return both the score and the reasons that produced it so sales can see the rationale on the record.

1. 1Clone the lead scoring snippet, then edit the weights to match your ideal customer profile.
2. 2Add Run Custom Code and map the signals you score on into Input 1 to Input 5, or pick them with Record properties to include.
3. 3Write Output 1, the score, back with a HubSpot Copy property step, and store Output 2 for the reasons.
4. 4Branch the workflow once on the score instead of maintaining a tree of conditions.
